Target Schools
Villagr currently provides Adopt-an-Art-Class supply boxes to Title I public elementary schools (Kindergarten through 5th grade) primarily located in California’s Bay Area and in proximity to our dedicated board members. By focusing on these schools, we aim to ensure our resources reach communities with the greatest need.
Our Method
To select target schools, Villagr utilizes official California state data, specifically looking at the percentage of students eligible for free or reduced-price meals. This eligibility rate serves as a reliable indicator of economic need, guiding our outreach and enabling us to make the most meaningful impact with our limited resources.
Our Metrics
Despite our small, volunteer-driven team, we’ve already made a significant impact:
8 Adopt-an-Art-Class supply boxes have been distributed.
5 different elementary schools have benefited from our program.
240 students have received essential art supplies, fully funded for an entire academic year.
