Mission
Provide art supplies to underfunded public schools through community philanthropy.
Vision
All students should receive an excellent education regardless of economic status. Villagr wants to level the playing field in the classroom, by supporting Title 1 schools with art supplies donated by their local community.
Values
Transparency
Transparency is important in philanthropy in order to ensure funders, resources, and donations are ethical and impactful. Villagr strives for a 100% transparent business model in all aspects focused on quantifying and attributing the impact of donated funds and goods directly to students and classrooms.
Impact
Villagr works directly with schools and students to understand what resources and donations have the most impact, and are the most beneficial in order to create our art supply boxes.
Simplicity
Teaching is a full time job, but getting resources for teaching shouldn’t be. Schools have enough to worry about, that is why Villagr works directly with teachers and administration to ensure we have the simplest and most streamlined process possible.
BOARD MEMBERS
Villagr is comprised of business professionals and teachers who have genuine care for equitable education. All of the members volunteer their time, and take no salary or income from funds donated to the organization. Any money received goes directly to the schools.
